Calibrated Flush Door

Calibrated Flush Door

  • The process of manufacturing a Calibrated Flush Door Starts after a normal Flush Door is created.
  •  First Laminate / Veneer is pressed on the flush door under a specially designed press machine (like; Cold Press, Hydraulic Hot Press) giving the ultimate bonding to the flush door to ensure optimum strength and durability.
  • Flush door is then passed in a calibration machine and thereafter in European wide belt sander uniform (Calibrated) thickness.
  • The resultant flush doors are known as Calibrated Flush Doors.
  • The Name itself defines the process and its unique feature.

Comparison between normal and calibrated door

Calibrated Door

  • Calibrated Doors can be Laminated or Veneered by high-tech machines like: Cold Press, Hydraulic Hot Press & wide Belt Sander.
  • Have far better fine finish & durability than uncalibrated doors.
  • The Calibrated doors have the following features –
    a. Flat surface
    b. Fine finish
    c. Remove variation on door
    d. Accurate results
    e. Solve problems (like;
    Delamination, Bubble
    faced during lamination)
  • Calibrated Doors offer Extra Strength.
  • Even after all these benefits they come at a price where you can gain more than the amount spent.

Normal Door

  • Normal Doors can’t be laminated or veneered using high-tech machines like: Cold Press, Hydraulic Hot Press & wide Belt Sander.
  • The fine finish & durability aren’t as good as calibrated doors.
  • All the features mentioned in calibrated doors are missing or are comparatively poorer than calibrated doors.
  • Normal Doors does not provide any extra strength.
  • The charges are affordable.

Timber is treated with preservative chemicals as per IS 401 and seasoned in automatic kin seasoning plant as per IS: 1144. This process reduces the moisture content up to the desirable level and make wood durable, termite-free, borer free and fungi-free.

Stile / Rail

Finger jointed stile/rail made of selected hardwood species having good screw holding capacity. (generally mango wood/Pine Wood)

Cross Band

From selected species conforming to IS710. (Generally Poplar/Mango / Gurjan)

Adhesive

It is a key element for manufacturing Flush Doors, Superior bonding & waterproofing (BWP) criteria are achieved.

Face Veneer

There is no best alternative to Gurjan Wood as a face veneer. (as per 15710)

  • Borer proof & termite resistance
  • Bonded with synthetic adhesive
  • Boiling Water Proof grade (BWP)
  • Guaranteed thickness
  • Long time stability & durability
  • Lock slot area
  • No waviness for a smooth surface
  • Accurate Thickness
  • Smooth Finish
